To do the Forward Worm, start in a push-up position. Push off from your toes and roll your body from your knees to your hips, eventually landing on your stomach. When your chest hits the ground, perform an explosive push-up to create the wave effect. For a smoother motion, land back on your toes and repeat the sequence.
The Backward Worm is a more challenging variant. Begin in the same push-up position, then use your arms to push your body backward. Roll back onto your chest and use the momentum to return to your knees and toes. This version carries a higher risk of injury, so proceed with caution.
For an advanced twist, try The One-Leg Worm. Start in the push-up position but lift one leg. Roll from your head to your chest, hips, and extended leg, then push up to complete the cycle. This variation adds a unique flair and requires good balance.
